We’re looking for a motivated Business Development Intern to join our team and help us expand our reach, forge valuable partnerships, and grow our network.

About the Role

As a Business Development Intern, you’ll play a crucial role in driving Bandana’s growth by researching and connecting with potential business partners, identifying new market opportunities, and supporting our efforts to bring more companies on board. You’ll collaborate closely with our leadership team to build and execute business strategies that impact real lives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Market Research & Outreach: Identify new business opportunities and leads that align with Bandana’s goals. Reach out to potential partners, businesses, and collaborators to build relationships.
  • Partnership Development: Help build and nurture relationships with key business partners and clients to help grow Bandana’s presence.
  • Lead Generation: Use various tools (LinkedIn, research platforms, etc.) to find qualified leads and introduce Bandana’s offerings to new businesses.
  • Data Collection & Reporting: Assist in collecting market data, tracking progress, and reporting results to the business development team.
  • Support Strategic Planning: Collaborate with team members to brainstorm new ideas for business growth, partnerships, and outreach initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong Communication Skills: You’ll be talking to businesses and key stakeholders regularly. Clear and persuasive communication is key.
  • Initiative & Problem-Solving: You can take direction and run with it, finding solutions to challenges along the way.
  • Research Skills: Ability to conduct in-depth market research to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Interest in Business Development: A strong desire to learn more about sales, partnerships, and business operations.
  • Fast Learner: You’re quick to pick up new tools, processes, and ideas.
  • Growth Mindset: Eager to learn and apply new skills to real-world challenges.

Bonus If You Have:

  • Previous internship experience in sales, business development, or marketing.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
  • A passion for social impact and a commitment to making a difference for hourly workers.
