DESCRIPTION

The Internet Edge Capacity Provisioning team is looking for a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager to support internet capacity provisioning and related activities across cross-functional projects focused on Ownership, customer obsession and stakeholder management.

Run meetings, create and maintain timelines, and keep large, diverse groups informed of progress and obstacles
You will work closely with Network Development Engineers and field support teams to drive capacity deployments while holding stakeholders accountable to timely deployment on delivery.
You will lead projects to support tool creation that will ultimately be a key driver in driving automation and efficiencies to fully automate the capacity delivery process.
You will be a single-threaded owner responsible for the execution of capacity delivery

Key job responsibilities
* Working directly with technical business development peers at order ingestion.
* Develop trust-based relationships with deployment key stakeholders
* Work with local and regional teams to lead deployments at order and circuit level physical provisioning, coordinating logical provisioning to move circuits to operational
* Identify operational inefficiencies, improve processes, automate tasks and partner with cross functional teams to develop new solutions
* Maintain order level visibility and ownership to go live
* Generating actionable insights and workflow change through the use of metrics, dashboards and deep live analysis
* Owns end to end external peering communication during the lifecycle of provisioning and/or related activities, managing and following up with external providers as required to meet customer SLAs
* Holds key customers meetings to manage expectations and prioritize key deployment orders updates to customers and stakeholders with a focus on priority orders
* Holds key partner meetings with required data center or business development teams to ensure SLAs are met across the physical stages of the process

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
* Experience in a service/ product deployment environment
* Business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating/deploying solutions to end users
* Handles multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
* Reporting analytic system skills needed (e.g., Excel, Tableau, SQL, Power BI, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Knowledge of colocation/carrier facilities and data center operational processes
* Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze, problem-solve, and prioritize.
* High levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
* Professionalism in dealing with senior leadership inside and outside the company.
* Proven leadership, problem solving skills, and strong attention to detail. Able to switch gears at a moment’s notice.
* Can think and plan ahead, prioritizes short and long term, and manages time effectively
* Strong bias for action; ability to juggle multiple priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Proven track record of confidently taking ownership, self-starter, and successfully delivers results
* Passion for innovation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies.
