The AWS SMGS Sales Ops – AWS Partner Organization (APO) Partner Management and Center of Excellence Business Intelligence (BI) team is the center of data excellence, reporting, automation, and data visualization & insights that supports the AWS Partner Organization and Marketplace. This BI team enables APO’s data driven culture, builds data automation solutions, and accelerates AWS revenue growth and Partner Profitability. We build for AWS Partner Organization’s internal stakeholders and expose data assets like curated datasets and data products such as dashboards, GenAI automated data insights that APO business teams can leverage to measure business outcomes and make data driven decision makings. The team’s vision is to advance the measurability, efficiency, insights automation and influence profitability of the APO business. The team is committed to bringing focus and rigor to solving the most critical data-centric opportunities faced by APO and our Partners, with emphasis on insight delivery, GenAI and other automation, and revenue growth.
We are seeking for a Senior Product Manager-Technical (PMT) to lead the charter of AWS Partner Management & Center of Excellence’s analytical insights automation and standardization. This high-visibility role will drive end-to-end success of new BI insights automation products that promote user experience on analytical insights consumption, cross-functional and cross-organizational reporting & analytics standardization, etc.


Key job responsibilities
- Develop BI insights automation products’ strategy and vision. Define and build product features, evaluate technical feasibilities and dependencies, and make balanced trade-offs; build and own product roadmap, track milestones and completion, measure success metrics post-launch and product feature refinement.
- Collaborate with AWS SMGS and APO engineering organizations (Science, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Product Engineering) to drive alignment and streamline data products construction based on APO-SMGS business use cases.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and power users across APO, AWS Marketplace cross-functional business organizations, and SMGS to align, test and collect feedback on BI insights automation products to improve user experience. Prioritizing features and make smart trade-offs that simplifies stakeholders’ insights consumption journey. Driving rapid experimentation to test and iterate on solutions, including supporting partner teams in their pilot designs.
- Developing multi-year vision and detailed Y1-Y3 launch roadmap in partnership with key stakeholders and other engineering teams. Contribute to OP planning.
- Drive recurring product launches including documentation, communication, and ensuring timely adoption of new features and solutions.
- Own frequent, meaningful updates to business stakeholders and senior management.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel and other tools
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition; collect business and technical requirements, evaluate feasibility and drive end to end technical/analytical products delivery

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in an operational environment developing, fast-prototyping, piloting and launching analytic products
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Master's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems or equivalent
- Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time
- Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Hands on experience of statistics, ML models, data automation, data modeling, ETL, using variety of tools and scripting language such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Amazon Quicksight. Understanding of different GenAI models and their strength and weaknesses; ability to use GenAI for data cleaning, preprocessing, and basic feature engineering; knowledge of prompt engineering to get better results from GenAI tools.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
