Learning & Development Partner
Awardco
Awardco is reimagining the workplace to be more rewarding, supportive, and fun for everyone. As one of the fastest-growing companies in the employee experience industry, our mission is to help employees love what they do, love where they work, and get recognized for their efforts—especially our own employees! And as winners of Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work, Best in Brightest in the Nation, and Great Place to Work, we do much more than talk the talk.
The Learning & Development team designs organization-wide learning that shapes how Awardco grows, leads, and excels. We’re looking for a Learning & Development Partner who can own learning programs end-to-end: designing engaging experiences, facilitating impactful sessions, and partnering with the business to turn real needs into measurable growth.
What you will do:
This is a hands-on, people-centered role that blends instructional design, facilitation, and program ownership. You’ll be responsible for learning experiences from concept through delivery and impact measurement. You’ll be part of a small but mighty team, and have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with other trainers and enablers throughout the organization.
- Own core L&D programs from strategy through execution, ensuring content, delivery, and measurement align to business priorities (V2MOM)
- Design and develop engaging, non-technical training for organization-wide audiences
- Create blended solutions using instructor-led workshops, digital courses (Articulate), and other support resources (evergreen where possible)
- Facilitate dynamic in-person training for our Utah workforce and inclusive virtual experiences for remote employees
- Develop assessments and evaluation tools to measure effectiveness (surveys, skills checks, behavior change, business outcomes)
- Use data and feedback to iterate content and improve impact
- Support administration, reporting, and learner experience within Workday Learn and the Awardco Platform.
- Act as a trusted advisor on adult learning and performance enablement across the organization, cross-functionally coordinating with other Awardco development SME
- Support enablement of required compliance learning (coordination and rollout support rather than primary ownership)
- Confident and competent in leveraging AI to develop, iterate on, enable, and evaluate employee development
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Psychology, Instructional Design, Education, or related field
- 3-5 years of applied experience in Learning & Development, Training, or Instructional Design
- Proven experience designing programs end-to-end and facilitating live training
- Strong instructional design foundation (needs analysis → objectives → design → evaluation)
- Confident, engaging facilitator for in-person and virtual audiences
- Ability to translate business needs into practical learning solutions
- Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication
- Project management across multiple initiatives
- Experience with content authoring tools like Articulate and LMS platforms such as Workday Learn
- Familiarity with training evaluation and impact models (e.g., Kirkpatrick)
- Believe learning should be pragmatic, make a measurable impact, and iterate quickly
- Enjoy partnering with leaders to meet real performance challenges
- Bring energy to facilitation and empathy to coaching moments
- Balance creativity with structure and measurable impact
