As the Director of Systems Operations, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a scalable system architecture, ensuring seamless integration of systems, and driving cost savings by consolidating and simplifying our tech stack. You will also be tasked with creating intuitive user experiences within our systems, controlling permissions and security, and engineering ecosystems to facilitate data tracking. Additionally, you will lead the systems operations team, execute on system buildouts for various projects and departments, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system performance and efficiency.

What you will do:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive systems operations strategy to build a scalable system architecture and ensure seamless integration of systems.
  • Identify opportunities to save costs by consolidating, simplifying, and removing software from the tech stack where necessary, while maintaining system functionality and performance.
  • Create user-friendly experiences within our systems, focusing on intuitive design, ease of navigation, and efficient workflows.
  • Control permissions and security across all systems, implementing measures to safeguard sensitive information and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Engineer ecosystems that facilitate data tracking, monitoring, and analysis, enabling informed decision-making and strategic insights.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing systems operations team, providing leadership, guidance, and support to drive team performance and professional growth.
  • Execute on system build outs for various projects and departments, ensuring alignment with business requirements and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, identify key metrics, and develop solutions to optimize system performance and efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability, scalability, and maintainability, leveraging automation and emerging technologies where appropriate.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in systems operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining scalable system architectures, optimizing system integrations, and driving cost savings through technology consolidation and simplification.
  • Strong understanding of user experience design principles, system permissions and security, and data tracking and analysis techniques.
  • Experience with a variety of systems and technologies, including Salesforce, CPQ, Ironclad, and Jira systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of systems professionals, driving a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Highly analytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
