We are looking for a dynamic Retention Analyst to help us retain our core customer base. In this role, you will deal directly with our customers to find out what issues they are facing, how we may improve our products or services, and how to retain their business. To be successful as a retention specialist, you should have a persuasive attitude, excellent customer relationship skills, and a passion for sales.

What you'll do:

  • Mitigate downgrades and cancellations
  • Own the churn process for all Awardco clients
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to develop retention strategy for each client
  • Assess trends/commonalities in “at risk” clients to determine where we are struggling most
  • Build a retention playbook for client success managers and implementation specialists
  • Assess concession offerings to determine the most influential levers in retention
  • Analyze customer health/sentiment trends and establish preventative measures
  • Determine how Awardco's self service offerings can be improved
  • Become an Awardco software master

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in client-facing roles
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
  • Advanced communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment and pave the path in a newly created role
