We are expanding our Global Software Engineering presence in India. We are looking for a Senior manager – Cloud test to join our team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will lead a team of QA engineers to develop, implement, and execute comprehensive QA strategies including test plans, methodologies to deliver high-quality product releases. This role involves project management, technical guidance, and fostering a collaborative team environment to drive quality software delivery.
2) Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive QA strategy, including test plans, methodologies, and best practices.
3) Continuously improve our QA processes to ensure high-quality product releases and superior customer experiences.
4) Plan, prioritize, and manage QA projects from initiation to completion.
5) Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
6) Identify and resolve technical challenges and roadblocks in a timely manner.
7) Manage defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution. Work with development teams to ensure timely and effective bug fixes.
8) Monitor and report on key quality metrics. Provide regular updates on QA progress, issues and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
9) Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the team.
1) Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2) 10+ years of quality assurance experience ideally in the cloud networking or cloud infrastructure spaceMin of 3 years of technical leadership and people management
experience.
3) Proven experience as a QA Manager, with a track record of leading and growing successful QA teams.
4) Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
5) Experience in test planning, case design, and execution for software systems.
6) Familiarity with agile methodologies and continuous integration/deployment.
7) Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools.
8) Strong verbal and written communication skills.
9) Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines with Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
1) Prior experience in Github/Jenkins/building and maintaining CI/CD Pipelines for daily automation regression testing
2) Prior working experience Network testing, Routing protocols and/or security testing
3) Prior working experience on one or more Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, Alibaba cloud, etc.) is a plus
4) Proficiency in Python or GoLang
5) Prior experience building Automation teams
