Position Overview

Aviatrix is seeking a Temporary Business Development Representative (BDR) to support our growing sales pipeline efforts. This is a 1099 independent contractor role structured as a short-term engagement, ideal for individuals looking to gain experience or contribute immediately to a high-growth, cloud security leader.

As a Temp BDR, you will play a key role in top-of-funnel pipeline generation, engaging with prospective customers and qualifying opportunities for our sales team.

Work Schedule:
This is a hybrid position that requires working from our Dallas office three days per week (Tuesday–Thursday)

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Outreach

  • Research and identify potential accounts and prospects.
  • Execute outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Qualify prospects based on defined criteria.

Customer Engagement

  • Conduct discovery conversations to surface business needs.
  • Articulate the value of Aviatrix solutions in the context of prospect challenges.
  • Build trust and hand off qualified opportunities to Account Executives.

CRM & Activity Management

  • Maintain accurate activity logs and lead notes in Salesforce.
  • Achieve daily and weekly outreach KPIs.
  • Provide feedback on messaging effectiveness and campaign performance.

Sales Collaboration

  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to align messaging.
  • Contribute insights from prospect conversations to improve sales plays.

Requirements

Experience:

  • 1+ years in a sales, customer service, or outbound prospecting role preferred.
  • Prior experience in SaaS or cybersecurity is a plus.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-driven, coachable, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management.

Tools:

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Salesloft/Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator preferred.

Engagement Details

  • Classification: 1099 Independent Contractor
  • Term: Temporary engagement; specific duration to be discussed
  • Location: Hybrid in Dallas, TX (In-office Tuesday–Thursday)
  • Compensation: Hourly rate; no benefits associated with this role
  • Equipment: Contractor to provide their own laptop and internet connectivity
