Position Overview

Avant-garde Health is seeking a highly effective Fractional Outbound Talent Recruiter to support hiring across multiple functions on an as-needed basis.

We are specifically seeking an individual with a demonstrated track record of proactively identifying, engaging, and attracting high-quality candidates through outbound recruiting efforts.

The ideal candidate has repeatedly filled roles through direct sourcing, enjoys the challenge of finding exceptional talent, and leverages AI-powered tools to improve sourcing efficiency and candidate engagement.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with company leadership and make a direct impact on the growth of a rapidly expanding healthcare technology company.

This is a fully remote, hourly contract position requiring approximately 10–20 hours per week, with workload varying based on hiring needs. The schedule is flexible, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced recruiter or talent consultant seeking a meaningful, high-impact engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring leaders to understand role requirements and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Develop outbound sourcing strategies for roles across Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering.
  • Identify, engage, and attract qualified candidates through LinkedIn, professional associations, referrals, and other sourcing channels.
  • Build and maintain high-quality talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Create personalized outreach campaigns designed to generate strong candidate response and engagement rates.
  • Provide regular updates on sourcing activity, pipeline health, and candidate engagement.
  • Leverage AI tools and automation to improve sourcing productivity, candidate identification, and outreach effectiveness.
  • Support additional recruiting-related initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of successfully filling positions through outbound sourcing and direct candidate engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting across both business and technical functions.
  • Strong expertise with LinkedIn Recruiter and other candidate sourcing tools.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve sourcing, outreach, candidate identification, and recruiting workflows.
  • Excellent written communication and candidate engagement skills.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and able to work independently with minimal oversight.

Candidates Should Be Prepared to Provide

  • Specific examples of roles successfully filled through outbound recruiting efforts.
  • Examples of outbound sourcing strategies that generated strong candidate pipelines.
  • Metrics demonstrating recruiting effectiveness, such as response rates, interview conversion rates, or hires generated through direct sourcing.
  • Examples of how AI tools have improved recruiting outcomes or efficiency.
  • At least 2–3 professional references who can speak specifically to the candidate’s outbound recruiting effectiveness, recruiting approach, and hiring results.
