The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated, strategic, and hands-on Director of Marketing. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the voice and growth strategy of a mission-driven healthcare technology company operating at the forefront of value-based care.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing positioning and messaging, building demand generation programs, creating compelling content, supporting enterprise sales efforts, and rolling up their sleeves to execute. You will work closely with company leadership, sales, customer success, and product teams to drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline growth among health system executives and physician leaders.

What You’ll Do

Build and Execute Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and execute an integrated B2B marketing strategy
  • Refine Avant-garde Health’s positioning and messaging
  • Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness and pipeline generation

Drive Demand Generation

  • Own and optimize lead generation initiatives across digital campaigns, webinars, conferences, LinkedIn, and outbound programs
  • Develop account-based marketing (ABM) strategies targeting hospital and health system executives
  • Partner closely with sales on opportunity creation iniatives

Create Content

  • Create compelling content that translates complex healthcare economics and analytics into clear business value
  • Develop case studies, white papers, presentations, customer stories, and executive-level marketing materials
  • Amplify Avant-garde Health’s leadership in value-based care through strategic content initiatives

Support Conferences and Webinars

  • Manage conference strategy and execution, including event planning, sponsorships, speaking opportunities, and follow-up campaigns
  • Organize webinars and potentially roundtables

Strengthen Marketing Operations

  • Improve CRM workflows, campaign tracking, reporting, and marketing automation processes
  • Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure marketing effectiveness

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of experience in B2B marketing
  • Proven ability to build and execute demand generation and content marketing programs
  • Strong writing, messaging, and storytelling capabilities
  • Experience supporting enterprise or consultative sales motions with long sales cycles
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and project management skills
  • Self-starter mentality with a bias toward action and execution

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience marketing to hospitals, physician groups, surgery centers, or healthcare executives
  • Familiarity with value-based care, healthcare analytics, bundled payments, perioperative services, or healthcare financial operations
  • Experience with HubSpot, LinkedIn campaigns, webinar platforms, and marketing analytics tools
  • Prior startup or high-growth company experience
