We’re looking for a passionate & optimistic backend engineer to join our growing product team. As a backend engineer, you’ll work closely with our frontend and backend teams to design and maintain performant, scalable microservices as we grow our customer base.

Your responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the product team to understand requirements and provide technical solution
• Build and maintain performant, scalable microservices handling large data loads
• Build and maintain scripts to streamline business processes
• Review code from colleagues
• Improve development processes perhaps by introducing new tools or technologies
  
  

What we are looking for:

• 5-8 years of experience as an engineer
• A strong passion for product
• Strong knowledge of Python and SQL (Postgres)
• Experience building scalable and performant microservices
• Experience working with large data loads
• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
• Someone who enjoys working in-office
• Knowledge of retail is a plus
