About Athletes First
Athletes First is a full-service athlete management firm that has been representing elite NFL players since its inception in 2001. Based in Southern California, with satellite offices in New York City, NY, Gainesville, FL, and Atlanta, GA. Athletes First is a staple in the sports representation business. Over the years, we've created a culture built around the two key components of our industry: exude extreme power while remaining intimately personal. Our mission is simple: Do the right things, with the right people, for the right reasons.

Role Overview

Athletes First is seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial and relationship-driven Agent to join our College Representation Department. This is a client-facing, performance-oriented role centered on recruiting and signing high school and college football players – and then delivering exceptional service once they are signed.
The ideal candidate is deeply embedded in the college and high school football landscape, has relevant relationships with players, coaches, and families, and possesses the drive and creativity to consistently convert prospects into signed clients on behalf of Athletes First. We are looking for a candidate that is motivated by winning as a team and demonstrates a willingness to outwork our competition.

  • Build long-term relationships rooted in trust, communication, and personal connection to support client retention
  • Guide clients through key milestones in their college and pre-professional careers, including visit preparation, logistics, and ongoing support
  • Support contract negotiations alongside experienced department members and NFLPA-certified agents
  • Continue developing subject-matter expertise and negotiation skills over time, with a long-term path toward independent client representation
