About the Sales & Marketing Intern position

Elevate your sales and marketing expertise with this hands-on internship that goes beyond traditional classroom learning. As an intern, you'll dive into researching brand marketing prospects for our diverse client base, including athletes, coaches, executives, and broadcasters. You'll have the chance to directly contact companies on behalf of our clients and provide crucial support to our sales team in securing integrated partnerships involving talent, media, and event assets.

This role offers you the unique opportunity to understand every stage of the sales process, from initial outreach to closing deals. The comprehensive experience you'll gain during this internship will equip you with valuable skills and insights, setting a strong foundation for a successful career in sports marketing.

*The Spring internship session will begin January 6th and end May 2nd

Sales & Marketing Intern Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data from marketing campaigns
  • Build prospecting lists; identify key contacts; capture contact information
  • Perform initial outreach to target brands
  • Assist with online and offline marketing through a variety of channels including social media, direct mail, and web marketing
  • Prepare and distribute marketing and promotional materials
  • Perform market analysis and research
  • Support extended sales team, as needed

Sales & Marketing Intern Requirements

  • Driven, willing to learn, with strong professionalism
  • Understanding of a variety of marketing techniques
  • Excellent skills in the following:
    • Verbal and written communication
    • MS Office Suite
  • Familiarity with:
    • Marketing software and online applications
    • Online analytics
    • CRM
  • Passion for the marketing industry and best practices thereof
  • Currently enrolled in a related bachelor’s degree program or master’s degree program
