About the Role
The Assistant Officer, Facilities plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the workplace environment. This position supports the Facilities Department in maintaining office infrastructure, coordinating maintenance activities, managing vendors, and ensuring a safe, functional, and well-organized workspace for all employees.
You will work closely with internal teams and external service providers to monitor facility operations, track expenses, maintain documentation, and identify process improvements. This role requires strong attention to detail, coordination skills, and a proactive mindset to address operational needs efficiently.
What you’ll Do
Shadow and observe the day-to-day activities of the Facilities Department.
Analyze the processes and identify areas for improvement.
Document current administrative procedures, workflows, and best practices.
Collaborate with department members to gather relevant data and insights.
Maintain accurate records and files related to the tasks.
Compile and present data-driven reports on observed trends and recommendations.
Arrange for regular maintenance of equipment and internal systems (e.g., access control, security cameras)
Check rooms and furniture to identify needs for repairs or renovations
Restock office and kitchen supplies, keep track of the stock and place purchase requisitions as per need
Oversee the schedule for cleaning and disinfecting the building
Monitor activities that happen outside the building, such as proper waste disposal
Fix minor malfunctions in office equipment
Coordinate office and parking space
Keep track of regular and ad-hoc facility expenses
Maintain an updated record of invoices from suppliers
Oversee the dispatch facility
What You Have
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or a relevant field.
0–2 years of experience in facilities management, administration, operations, or a similar role is preferred.
Fresh graduates with strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Strong observation and analytical skills.
Good documentation and reporting ability.
Basic understanding of maintenance processes and office infrastructure management.
Ability to coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft G-Suit / Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.
Basic troubleshooting skills for minor equipment issues.
Good communication skills in both Bangla and English.
Detail-oriented and proactive.
Responsible and dependable.
Problem-solving mindset.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Shift Detail: Night Shift, (10:00 PM BST - 7:00 AM BST)
Workdays: Monday to Friday
