About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Operations Associate, Coding (Multi-Specialty) to drive excellence and scalability within our Coding Operations organization. In this role, you’ll play a key part in optimizing workflows, ensuring coding accuracy and compliance, and supporting automation initiatives across a diverse set of clinical specialties. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and client success teams to refine tools, improve data quality, and enable efficient, high-integrity coding operations.
This role requires a deep understanding of coding standards, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. You’ll take ownership of high-impact processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and help build the systems that power autonomous and assisted coding at scale.
This full-time position requires working 5 days a week in our Mountain View, CA office. Health-tech or healthcare industry experience/exposure preferred.
What You’ll Do
Lead coding quality initiatives across multiple specialties to ensure accuracy, compliance, and optimal reimbursement.
Conduct audits and root cause analysis on coding-related discrepancies and denials, implementing corrective actions and long-term process improvements.
Use SQL and data analysis tools to validate coding outputs, identify trends, and generate actionable insights for stakeholders.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including RCM, product, and client operations; to resolve complex issues and drive scalable outcomes.
Contribute subject matter expertise to internal and external projects involving coding automation, auditing, and compliance initiatives.
Serve as a liaison between the outsourced coding team and client sites, ensuring clear communication of queries, documentation needs, and action items.

Participate in client-facing meetings to provide coding updates, resolve issues, and present analytical insights and recommendations.
What You Have
CPC certification (required); additional credentials such as CCS, CIC, or COC are strongly preferred.
2+ years of hands-on coding experience in multi-specialty environments (e.g., E/M, surgical, procedural, and diagnostic coding) adhering to quality metrics.
SQL and data analysis skills preferred; ability to query and interpret structured data to validate coding and reporting accuracy.
Deep understanding of coding guidelines, medical terminology, documentation requirements, and payer rules.
Prior experience in a tech-enabled healthcare, EHR/EHR-integrated coding, or AI-assisted coding environment is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and commitment to maintaining data integrity.
Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
