Summary of Position:

ArriVent Biopharma is looking for a talented and highly motivated Finance Manager. This person will be responsible for a wide range of tasks and responsibilities, including accounting, finance, treasury, and control areas.

Key responsibilities:

• Tracking spending across all functions, including clinical trial spending
• Assisting in budgeting and quarterly forecasting
• Assisting in developing scenario analysis and modeling for potential in-licensing efforts
• Participating in monthly close processes, including general ledger maintenance and journal entry booking
• Ensuring smooth functioning of internal controls
• Participating in processing purchase requisitions and orders
• Working collaboratively with finance, accounting, R&D and G&A functions

Desired Skills and Experiences:

• 5+ years of experience in either public accounting, corporate accounting, or a combination of both
• Biopharma or pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred
• CPA or parts passed of the CPA Exam required.
• Advanced Excel capabilities
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Sage Intacct
• Self-starter, and independent worker
• Able to work effectively and collaboratively in a remote environment
• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail

Education:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or finance
