Location: This role is 100% remote, based in the UK. There is a need for occasional travel to London.

The role:

We are seeking a marketing project manager who is passionate about efficiency, optimisation, collaboration and delivery.

You will have a strong past record of scheduling and managing workload requests for marketing centres of excellence, managing projects, and delivering performance improvements and efficiencies. Knowledge and experience of using Asana to track tasks, manage projects and optimise ways of working would be a major advantage.

You will need to be highly organised, a strong communicator, have a very keen eye for detail and be able to manage a large number of individual tasks alongside several projects simultaneously. Ideally you will have worked in or with marketing teams in a B2B environment. We need a person who can help our teams to be more productive whilst maintaining the required level of governance and transparency.

The Role of Program Management Office (PMO):

Armis has an established PMO for its global marketing department, in essence they ‘quarter back’ the work of the entire function and assure that our critical activities come out on time and on budget.

The PMO has a framework which helps to govern key programs and projects including planning, deployment and monitoring activities with the wider team. Our primary PMO software platform is Asana, which is embedded at Armis on an enterprise wide basis.


What you will do…

  • End to end management and execution of marketing projects and initiatives using the Asana tool to facilitate visibility, efficiency, reporting and effective delivery
  • Stakeholder management - build and maintain relationships with key project sponsors, and senior leadership so you can effectively scope out projects, agree timelines and prioritise resources
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure their commitment in your projects and their timely responses to avoid delays and minimise risks
  • Ensure the PMO is operating efficiently by reviewing Asana performance metrics and suggest areas for improvement
  • Provide support to other team members and cover for them when they are unavailable to ensure the PMO is operating optimally
  • Understand and solve complex problems that stretch over multiple parts of the business
  • Take a pro-active role in continually improving the use of Asana for the tracking and reporting of tasks, initiatives and projects

What we expect…

  • Must have 5+ years’ experience as a Project/Program Manager in a marketing function in a fast paced B2B environment, ideally in a technology based industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and project management qualifications would be ideal
  • A solution orientated individual with a “can do” attitude. You’re not afraid to assume responsibility and solve problems
  • Experience in process optimisation, innovation, efficiency realisation programs is desirable
  • Possess critical thinking and understands the company vision and how the global marketing department supports that
  • The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively lead project teams
  • Excellent influencing skills and ability to establish relationships and engage individuals
  • You will be adept at comprehending and translating business needs
  • Highly collaborative - skilled at bringing people together, highly organised, and has leadership level communication.
  • Comfortable in a high growth, entrepreneurial, and changeable environment
