We’re looking for a Community & Social Media Manager to help grow, engage, and protect our player community for Baseball Hits 26. This role sits at the intersection of community, social, player support, and marketing, and is critical to ensuring players feel heard, respected, and excited to be part of our ecosystem.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience managing large, active player communities, understands the tone and culture of sports fandom (especially baseball), and approaches community management with a player-first mindset. You’ll work closely with Product Marketing, PlayerSupport, and Development to ensure community feedback is surfaced, sentiment is understood, and communication is clear, timely, and authentic.

This role starts as a contract position, with a strong opportunity to convert to full-time as the game continues to grow.

Location: Remote - North American Time Zones preferred

What You'll Do

CommunityManagement
Run day-to-day operations across community channels (e.g., Discord & socialplatforms)
Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for players
Enforce community guidelines consistently and fairly; de-escalate conflicts when needed
Act as a trusted advocate for players while balancing development and business realities
Identify trends, sentiment shifts, and recurring issues within the community and escalate appropriately

Social Media
Manage and publish content across social channels in alignment with marketing beats and live events
Engage directly with players through comments, replies, and DMs in a thoughtful, brand-appropriate voice
Support announcements, events, updates, and live ops moments with social amplification
Collaborate with Product Marketing on tone, messaging, and content calendars

Cross-FunctionalCollaboration·
Work closely with Marketing, Player Support, and Development teams to:
o Share player feedback and sentiment
o Communicate updates, fixes, and changes clearly to the community
o Align on messaging during launches, events, and sensitive situations
Partner with Player Support to ensure consistent responses and escalation paths

Content &Creative Support (Nice to Have)
Create or update light visual assets for social and community posts (e.g.,Photoshop-based graphics, simple layouts, cropped assets)
Adapt existing marketing assets for community and social use

Requirements & Background
3–5years of experience in community management and/or social media for games, live services, or large online communities
Experience managing large-scale player communities with high engagement
Strong understanding of best practices for community safety, moderation, and inclusivity
A player-first mentality with empathy, professionalism, and emotional intelligence
Excellent written communication skills and strong judgment
Ability to collaborate effectively across marketing, product, and development teams
Familiarity with baseball culture, fandom, and terminology
Strong understanding community tools such as Discord, moderation tools, and social scheduling platforms (e.g., Hootsuite)

Nice to Have
Experience working on sports or sports-adjacent games
Working knowledge of Photoshop or similar design tools
Experience supporting live events, launches, or live ops communications
Deep understanding of free-to-play games
Passion for games
