Please note that we are an in-office company, which means the expectation is that you would come in to your Applied Intuition office 5 days a week.

About the role

We are looking for a true industry leader who will set the technical direction and business strategy for an untapped area in generative AI across our core product pillars. You will help position Applied Intuition as the AI-first vehicle software supplier to the largest OEMs in the world. You will lead a team of world class software and machine learning engineers who will be developing AI capabilities that will revolutionize the way that people interact with vehicles. This position is ideal for a leader with a strong background in AI and machine learning, a commitment to quality, and a desire to make a real impact on our customers.

At Applied Intuition, you will:

  • Manage and mentor a team of talented software & machine learning engineers
  • Partner with a dedicated product manager to build a category-leading product
  • Interview and recruit engineers for your team
  • Work closely with customers to define requirements for AI capabilities
  • Leverage your previous AI knowledge to inform the ideal model architectures

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, physics, robotics, or related fields from a top institution
  • 4+ years working in the machine learning and/or generative AI space
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • Programming experience in one of the following: C++, Python, or Java

Nice to have:

  • Experience working directly with end users
  • Experience building software for technical end users
  • A Master’s degree or PhD in computer science, physics, robotics, or related fields

The salary range for this position is $65,000 USD to $400,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company's compensation practices.
