About Anthropic

Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.

About the Role

As a Business Systems Analyst at Anthropic, you will serve as the strategic bridge between business needs and technical execution across our Go-To-Market (GTM) systems ecosystem. Acting as a product owner, you will help drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for systems including Salesforce, Clay, Hubspot, Gong. Your primary focus will be on optimizing enterprise GTM processes, analyzing complex business requirements, and translating strategic goals into scalable, measurable solutions. You'll work collaboratively with the GTM infrastructure team and cross-functional teams to ensure our GTM systems deliver exceptional value and enable our rapid growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as product owner for products/processes involving the GTM systems stack, defining vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap aligned with business objectives
  • Partner closely with the technical teams to prioritize and scope technical implementations, ensuring seamless collaboration between business strategy and system execution
  • Gather, document, and analyze complex business requirements from Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partner teams for enterprise selling workflows
  • Translate business needs into detailed user stories, functional specifications, and solutions that drive system improvements
  • Lead discovery sessions and requirements workshops with stakeholders to understand pain points, identify opportunities, and define success metrics
  • Design end-to-end business processes and system workflows that optimize lead-to-revenue operations, pipeline management, and customer lifecycle stages
  • Conduct gap analysis to evaluate current-state processes versus desired future state, recommending solutions that balance quick wins with strategic transformations
  • Own the product backlog for GTM systems, working with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives based on business impact, effort, and strategic alignment
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) initiatives, coordinating with business users to validate solutions meet requirements and deliver expected outcomes
  • Create comprehensive documentation including process flows, system architecture diagrams, data dictionaries, and training materials
  • Drive change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes and system implementations across the organization
  • Act as subject matter expert on GTM systems capabilities, best practices, and industry trends

You may be a good fit if you

  • Have 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or Product Manager focused on GTM/Revenue Operations systems
  • Possess deep understanding of enterprise B2B sales processes, including account-based selling, multi-stakeholder deal cycles, and complex opportunity management
  • Have proven experience working with GTM technology stacks such as Salesforce (Sales Cloud, CPQ), marketing automation platforms (Hubspot, Marketo), conversation intelligence tools (Gong), and routing/enrichment tools (LeanData, Clay)
  • Demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and identify actionable insights
  • Have strong product ownership mindset with experience managing roadmaps, backlogs, and stakeholder priorities in an agile environment
  • Possess excellent stakeholder management skills and can influence cross-functional partners without direct authority
  • Are a strategic thinker who can balance big-picture vision with tactical execution and attention to detail
  • Have experience with data analysis, creating dashboards, and using data to drive decision-making (SQL knowledge is a plus)
  • Can effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and business requirements to technical teams
  • Are proactive and self-directed, able to identify problems before they escalate and drive solutions independently
  • Have worked in high-growth SaaS or technology companies where you've scaled systems and processes rapidly

Education requirements: We require at least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.

Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.

We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.

How we're different

We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.

The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
