Product Manager - Security Analytics, Threat Intelligence & AI (Redwood City, CA)
Software Engineering, Product, Data Science
Redwood City, CA, USA
Anomali is building the next generation of AI-driven security operations, combining threat intelligence, security analytics, and autonomous workflows to help security teams detect, investigate, and respond faster.
We are looking for a Product Manager to join our growing product team and work across core areas of our platform, including threat intelligence, security analytics, and AI. This is a horizontal, cross-functional role for a PM who wants to build deep technical and domain expertise across the security operations stack while owning meaningful product areas end-to-end.
You will own discrete product areas and features, partner closely with engineering, design, data, field, and go-to-market teams, and execute within a strategic framework set by Product Leadership. This is not a siloed role. Success requires strong alignment with company direction and the ability to translate strategy into clear, practical execution.
- Own the full product lifecycle for assigned features and capabilities, from discovery and requirements through launch, adoption, and iteration
- Translate ambiguous problems into clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that enable high-quality engineering execution
- Engage directly with customers and prospects to uncover real needs, validate solutions, and continuously refine the product
- Partner closely with engineering, design, data, intelligence, analytics, AI, and field teams to ensure product decisions are grounded in platform capabilities and customer outcomes
- Align roadmap priorities with Product Leadership and company strategy while shaping feature-level direction and execution
- Support go-to-market efforts through competitive analysis, sales enablement, and customer-facing documentation
- Communicate progress, risks, trade-offs, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders across product, engineering, go-to-market, and leadership teams
- Contribute to Anomali’s evolving AI roadmap, helping define how autonomous workflows and agentic capabilities are incorporated into the platform
Required Skills/Experience:
You are a product manager who can take complex, ambiguous problems and turn them into shipped capabilities with clear customer and business impact.
- 3+ years of product management experience, or equivalent experience in a technical or product-adjacent role such as engineering, TPM, or solutions architecture with relevant technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other relevant discipline required. Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data, MBA or other relevant advanced education or certifications highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguity into structured requirements with clear acceptance criteria
- Comfort working across technical and business audiences; you can collaborate deeply with engineers and communicate effectively with senior security leaders, including CISOs
- Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment, taking strategic direction from Product Leadership while owning execution at the feature and product-area level
- Familiarity with agile development practices and modern PM tooling such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; clear, direct, and accountable in how you work
- Ownership mindset, bias for action, and a track record of following through
- Fundamental capabilities with AI and curiosity around how it is reshaping security operations
- This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. The successful candidate must not now, or in the future, require visa sponsorship to work in the US
- For candidates in the Bay area (preferred), this position is onsite/hybrid at our Redwood City, CA office. Currently, the team is working a hybrid schedule: Mon/Tue/Wed onsite and Thu/Fri remote. We will also consider remote candidates located within the United States.
- Exposure to cybersecurity, security operations, or adjacent domains such as threat intelligence, SIEM, SOAR, or EDR
- Experience building SaaS platforms, data products, analytics systems, or AI/ML-driven applications
- Background in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field
- Familiarity with the broader security data and tooling ecosystem
- You do not need deep security experience on day one, but you should be excited to ramp quickly in the domain
Anomali sits at the intersection of threat intelligence, AI-native security analytics, and autonomous security operations. This role offers the opportunity to work across the stack, from data infrastructure and intelligence enrichment to user-facing workflows, and to help shape how AI transforms real-world SOC operations.
You will have direct impact on products used by global security teams, exposure to a roadmap spanning analytics, intelligence, and autonomous workflows, and a clear path to broader ownership as the product organization scales.
