Job Description:
Anomali seeks a skilled Director of FP&A and Business Partnering to bolster our Finance team. This role will spearhead financial budgeting and forecasting while conducting thorough financial reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate will possess robust Excel skills, familiarity with budgeting processes in software companies, and a proactive attitude towards supporting all facets of the Finance team. Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and customer service abilities are paramount. You'll be a vital member of our Finance team, requiring enthusiasm and a hands-on approach suited for a fast-paced startup environment. Your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities:
• Acting as the finance business partner to senior management and business unit leaders (for Marketing and R&D), furnishing financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to bolster strategic initiatives and enhance business performance.
• Conducting analysis of current and projected company performance, including variance analysis compared to prior forecasts and plans.
• Utilizing financial expertise and business acumen to construct financial models and analyses with minimal guidance, drawing conclusions, and offering recommendations that yield results and drive enhancements.
• Taking charge of the company's financial planning and analysis process, collaborating cross-functionally with all management levels to deliver substantive financial information, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Playing a pivotal role in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Performing financial reporting and analysis to pinpoint risks and opportunities, crafting analytics that measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide decision-making and promote accountability.
• Serving as a trusted advisor to the FP&A team and COO/CFO, actively collaborating, influencing, and aligning the company's planning processes with the overarching company strategy.
• Leveraging data to provide recommendations that influence strategic decision-making and planning across various departments, spanning from marketing and product to real estate and construction.
• Assisting with forecasting/planning, reporting and analytics, and decision support.
• Developing and managing operational finance metrics and intricate financial models.
• Playing a pivotal role in the implementation of FP&A planning tools.
• Providing leadership, guidance, and support to staff members through effective goal setting and professional development.
• Assisting with ad-hoc projects as necessary.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 8+ years of FP&A experience, preferably, in Enterprise SaaS within a high-growth environment. Cybersecurity industry experience is a plus.
• Proven expertise managing, evaluating, analyzing data quickly and creating meaningful business reporting combined with proven ability to communicate those analyses
• Experience and proficiency in ERP systems such as NetSuite.
• Advanced Excel knowledge. Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Looker preferred.
• Strong analytical capabilities coupled with expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Proven ability to develop strategic relationships with business partners.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Extreme attention to detail.
• Able to work both independently and in teams.
• Highly organized and efficient project management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and multitask.

Compensation Transparency
$190,000 - $210,000 USD
Please note that the annual base salary range is a guideline and, for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location, as well as, knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for benefits, and may be eligible for incentive compensation and/or equity.
