Responsibilities:
Anomali is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing Finance team. This person will drive the financial budgeting and forecasting process and conduct financial reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, an understanding of budgeting processes at software companies and an eagerness to support all aspects of the Finance team. Strong communication, organizational, analytical and customer service skills are essential. You will be an integral part of our Finance team and will need to be an enthusiastic and hands-on individual who enjoys a quick-paced startup environment. You will:
• Have the ability to take ownership of the Company’s entire financial planning process, working collaboratively and cross-functionally with all levels of management to deliver meaningful financial information: Annual budget, updates to budget, month-end analysis of variances
• Play an integral role in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process.
• Conduct financial reporting and analysis to assess and identify the risks and opportunities and develop analytics that measures key performance indicators to drive accountability.
• Be a trusted advisor to the FP&A team and COO/CFO; proactively collaborate, influence, and align the Company’s planning processes to achieve the overall Company strategy.
• Assist with forecasting/planning, reporting and analytics, as well as decision support.
• Develop and maintain operational finance metrics and complex financial models
• Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree, or higher in Accounting/Finance/Business or related field required.
• Enterprise SaaS experience preferred in a high growth environment.
• 3-4+ years of experience including 1-2+years of strategy consulting, investment banking, or venture capital with a subsequent 1-2+ years of FP&A experience at high growth enterprise software companies.
• Excellent communications skills with the ability to work with multiple management styles and personalities.
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and build complex models (in Excel and other planning applications).
• Experience with financial planning systems (Anaplan, Adaptive, etc.).
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Intacct, Oracle, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills, efficient, self-motivated and proactive thinker with the ability to follow through and implement process improvement.
• Exposure to key financial management processes as required in a scaling organization. • Ability to work autonomously.
