ABOUT THE TEAM

We are building the future of situational awareness. Our Sentry platform integrates robotics, autonomy, hardware, and software to deliver mission-critical capabilities in defense and security, with an expanding footprint into commercial markets. With a rapidly growing fleet and new product variants in development, we partner across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, operations, business development, and more to deliver cutting-edge systems at scale.

ABOUT THE JOB

The Sentry team is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Portfolio Operations Associate to join our dynamic core operating team. In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Sentry product portfolio. You will serve as a critical conduit, bridging the gap between product development, engineering, manufacturing, and deployment, and our core operations functions. Your work will involve analyzing product performance, streamlining processes, and providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Development & Delivery Orchestration: Partner with Product, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Deployment teams to support the streamlining of how Sentry products are planned, built, sold, and delivered. Assist in driving alignment across these key functions
  • Portfolio Management Assistance: Support efforts to reduce variant sprawl by assisting with discipline around Bill of Materials (BOM) planning, SKU structures, naming conventions, and release communications to ensure consistency across teams
  • Operational Process Support: Assist in defining and documenting repeatable processes for Sentry product deployments, upgrades, and release readiness, contributing to the move from ad hoc execution to scalable practices
  • Business System Optimization: Support the adoption and effective utilization of business systems like Jira and Confluence to improve planning, tracking, and execution across the Sentry product lifecycle
  • Stakeholder Alignment Support: Identify operational pain points and assist in proposing solutions to leadership, contributing to stakeholder alignment for implementation
  • Documentation & Knowledge Management: Contribute to architecting and maintaining documentation systems that enable internal users (Engineering, Business Development, Operations, etc.) to quickly access Sentry product information
  • Sales & Marketing Enablement Support: Collaborate with Product Marketing and Proposal teams to gather product information that helps showcase Sentry's value and capabilities
  • Operational Project Support: Assist in end-to-end operational initiatives from definition through implementation, requiring structured approaches to solve problems
  • Cross-Functional Process Improvement: Work across Anduril's functions (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Engineering, etc.) to help establish processes that enable Sentry to scale while ensuring programs operate at peak efficiency
  • Operational Analytics: Execute analyses on short timelines and contribute to building more scalable solutions for the Sentry product portfolio

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • You have 1+ years of experience in management consulting. internal strategy & operations, or business analyst role. Experience operating in a high-growth technology company, or starting a venture, are heavily considered
  • You get energy from being a thought partner for others - it excites you to spend time translating operational problems into data problems, and to then going and executing on them
  • You’re both high ownership and low ego, approaching everything with strong outcome orientation and high humility
  • You are self-driven and relentlessly proactive. You don’t need someone to tell you to “move”. You just move. We’d rather have to tell you to slow down than to speed up
  • You are comfortable communicating broadly and having a lot of eyes on your work. This role can at-times require comms to large groups and senior leadership. This should excite you!
  • You have an appetite to build clear frameworks to structure problems
  • Aptitude for rapid learning and assimilating new information to swiftly become proficient in unfamiliar subject areas and technologies
  • You have strong analytical aptitude. You intuitively think about problems in terms of numbers and data-models, and you are able to quickly execute analyses in Excel or SQL
