ABOUT THE TEAM
The Deputy Chief of Staff will serve as a key member of the executive team, combining seamless coordination and communication with high-level executive assistant duties to ensure smooth operations within the Office of the CEO. Reporting to the CEO’s Chief of Staff, the individual will serve as a trusted point of contact for internal and external clients, helping to drive cross-functional projects or initiatives while maintaining discretion and professionalism. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, demonstrate sound judgment, possess strong organizational skills, effectively balance competing priorities, and demonstrate the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

This is an in-office position is based in our Costa Mesa, CA Headquarters.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Provide high-level administrative and strategic support to the CEO, managing complex calendars and coordinating meetings, travel arrangements, and logistics.
  • Manage and prioritize dynamic schedules, exercising discretion in resolving calendar conflicts.
  • Ensure that the executives' schedules are respected and adhered to, maintaining a balance among competing priorities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating communication and managing inquiries related to the executive offices.
  • Facilitate logistical arrangements for high-level meetings and events, including venue selection, catering, and participant management.
  • Create agendas, take minutes, and track action items from meetings to ensure follow-up on key initiatives.
  • Assist in the execution of special projects and cross-functional initiatives critical to the executives.
  • Conduct research and compile data as needed to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Submit expense reports and manage complex travel accommodations for the executives.
  • Assist with preparing and editing correspondence, presentations, and other documents for executive engagements.
  • Assist with producing documents for internal and external meetings, ensuring all materials are accurate and well-organized.


Required Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years of experience supporting high-level executives in a fast-paced corporate or government environment, preferably within the defense, aerospace, or technology sector.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to engage with high-level executives and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to balance multi-departmental projects from conception to execution with little to no supervision
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of exercising sound judgment in various situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience scheduling across multiple time zones.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in project management or a related field is highly desired.
US Salary Range
$108,000$162,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
