Role Overview


The Senior Manager, Benefits at Anduril Industries will lead the strategic design, implementation, and administration of Anduril’s global benefits programs to support the health, wellness, and financial security of our employees. This role requires a seasoned leader with deep expertise in benefits strategy, a keen understanding of compliance, and a passion for delivering innovative, employee-focused solutions. You will partner closely with HR leadership, Finance, and external vendors to ensure Anduril’s benefits programs remain competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, strong management/stakeholder engagement and exceptional analytical skills to evaluate programs, optimize processes, and deliver a best-in-class employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead Anduril’s global benefits strategy, including health and welfare programs, retirement plans, leave of absence and worker’s compensation policies, and wellness initiatives.
  • Oversee the administration and optimization of all benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, FSA/HSA, 401(k), and other ancillary benefits.
  • Partner with leadership and external consultants to assess and benchmark benefit offerings, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with Anduril’s compensation philosophy.
  • Lead benefits open enrollment planning, execution, and communication, ensuring a seamless and engaging employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws (e.g., ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA) and manage associated reporting requirements.
  • Analyze program utilization, costs, and employee feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Legal teams to manage benefits budgets, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee education and engagement around benefits offerings and wellness programs.
  • Oversee leave of absence policies, including short-term/long-term disability, parental leave, and FMLA administration.
  • Lead and mentor a team of benefits professionals, fostering development and growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in benefits strategy and administration, with at least 5 years in leadership.
  • Strong understanding of benefits compliance, including ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, and 401(k) regulations.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to optimize programs.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and overseeing benefits budgets.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (Rippling) and benefits administration platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) or similar certification.
  • Experience in the aerospace, defense, or technology industries.
US Salary Range
$142,000$213,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
