The Director of Industrial Security manages and leads the execution of the security framework to protect Anduril Industries’ operations involving classified and sensitive material and information. The Director is responsible for leading and overseeing a diverse team of security professionals dispersed throughout Anduril locations nationwide. This executive role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive security policies and procedures that meet regulatory requirements and safeguard Anduril Industries’ assets, employees, and information, particularly in classified and sensitive program areas.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Direct and oversee security operations to ensure compliance with National Industrial Security Program (NISP), Intelligence Community Directives (ICD), DoD Manuals 5205 series to include JSIG, along with all other applicable federal, state, and local security operations, policies, and procedures utilizing identified best practices and risk management principles.
  • Develop and maintain robust security policies and procedures for industrial security and special programs in compliance with government and industry standards.
  • Work with and advise Anduril Divisions and Business Lines to ensure compliance with contract/subcontract security requirements.
  • Interface with government agencies regarding security requirements and compliance for special programs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into all facets of operations.
  • Manage and mentor the security team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in security operations.
  • Oversee security clearance processes, ensuring personnel with access to sensitive information maintain appropriate clearances.
  • Oversee the construction and accreditation of secure spaces built to 32 CFR Part 117 and ICD 705 standards.
  • Manage security education and awareness programs to maintain a high level of security consciousness among employees.
  • Oversee and enforce adherence to requirements for classified storage, annual classified inventory, classified media control, and the visitor control program within the secure areas.
  • Conduct security risk assessments and audits, implementing measures to mitigate identified risks.
  • Lead the response to security incidents and coordinate investigations as necessary.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Security Studies or a related field or equivalent experience in addition to 15 years experience in industrial security and 5 years in executive management experience.
  • Significant experience in industrial security management, operations, and execution in a defense or government contracting environment and experience within both the DoD and Intelligence Community (IC).
  • A command level of knowledge of DoDM 5205.07 Volumes 1-4 SAP manuals, Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG), 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), and ICD series manuals.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts effectively.
  • Current TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain SAP accesses.
  • Professional security certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) are desirable.
US Salary Range
$168,000$252,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
