The Anduril Rocket Motor Systems (ARMS) team is on a mission to build next generation solid rocket motors for a safer, more connected world. What You’ll Do

  • Work in Supply Chain to consistently improve the ERP system to make it effective and accurate for purchasing and work order requirements across multiple locations
  • Develop and maintain MRP and associated master data under direction of the ERP Configuration and Product Scheduling Manager
  • Initiate, receive approvals, and close out engineering change requests as identified by Supply Chain Department ensuring Engineering and Supply Chain requirements match at all times
  • Plan and communicate job release requirements with Warehouse Manger for pick, kitting, and delivery at job stations
  • Maintain work order planning and communication on status, priority, and schedule changes based on material availability and work order operations
  • Support all data entry for the part master, change order management, and manufacturing order releases
  • Create all non inventory part numbers for purchasing with appropriate accounting codes
  • Production control tracking of work order updates, work order planning, and building job cards to ensure the correct revision of all job cards are managed in coordination with bill of material changes
  • Work with Engineering and Supply Chain to create accurate demand planning requirements and warehouse pick requirements to support manufacturing
  • Test solutions and provide training and documentation to the end-users
  • Work with end users to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Be responsible for the accurate planning and on-time delivery of both raw material to internal assembly lines as well as finished goods to customers
  • Support day to day demand signaling, ordering, and inventory management for multiple product lines at once
  • Implement and maintain parts tracking and traceability processes through Enterprise Resource Planning software and other associated tools

Required

  • Prior work in energetics research, development, and manufacturing processes, including but not limited to mixing, casting, machining, and other similar processes utilizing work orders for labor and material planning
  • Manufacturing experience related component assembly processes, including but not limited to assembling rockets, casings, nozzles, and other relevant parts
  • Experience tracking material consumption in a lab and manufacturing facility using multiple units of measure
  • Excel and Power Point proficiency
  • Recording and maintaining data related to quality control and traceability requirements
  • Experience working in a lab environment with HazMat materials
  • Perform other tasks and responsibilities based on the needs of the organization
  • Solid understanding of the Manufacturing, Inventory, Supply Chain and/or Finance processes with a focus on Purchasing and Manufacturing requirements management
  • Experience working with Netsuite, Fishbowl Manufacturing, or a similar ERP System
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work and collaborate with team members both functionally and technically
  • Ability to prioritize, accurately track and input data to drive open items to completion within established timelines
  • U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data.
  • Strong technical ability to read technical documentation such as drawings and CAD data, understanding of a variety of hardware manufacturing processes for raw materials, electronics, chemicals, fabrication, and outside operations
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed

Preferred

  • 3+ years of prior ERP Implementation experience in the manufacturing industry
  • 3+ years experience in planning or production control, that includes building and maintaining work orders
  • 3+ years experience working with Engineering in a configuration and change order management role within ERP
  • 5+ years past experience in a fast-paced defense focused contract manufacturing environment
  • Experience with handling government property under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
  • Experience with AS9100 quality systems and documenting processes
  • Training and onboarding new employees
  • Experience interacting with SQL databases - storage of information and building custom queries for tracking production and inventory-related metrics
  • Some college level courses on a track related to a technical degree in an engineering and manufacturing related field
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma principles in action

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
