Anduril’s Rocket Motor Systems group is seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to join our team. The Rocket Motor Systems group designs, develops, and manufactures next-generation solid rocket motors for defense and space applications at Anduril.

As a Quality Systems Engineer you will work with Anduril RMS management to implement the Anduril Quality Management System (QMS). You will then verify compliance to AS9100 requirements including all applicable procedures. You will plan, schedule, and perform quality system audits and measure, analyze and assess QMS data to identify continuous improvement opportunities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Provide Quality Management System training and guidance to ARMS management, departments, and internal customers.
  • Build, improve, and implement processes and systems that meet our QMS objectives and assure compliance to customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Coordinate and maintain internal audit schedules in accordance with AS9100 Quality Management System standards and ARMS policies.
  • Assess ARMS products, processes and systems, through internal audits to ensure compliance to all customer requirements, procedures, and the AS9100 standard.
  • Monitor and analyze Quality System performance.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers on QMS data and provide insight through internal and 3rd party audit findings and observations.
  • Develop corrective and preventive actions, solutions, and improvements.
  • Collaborate with Anduril managers to develop and implement QMS controls and improvements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar technical field.
  • Must have a background and 5 years of experience in an ISO9000/AS9100 type of QMS including implementation and/or auditing.
  • Experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role.
  • Experience reading and interpreting drawings
  • Root Cause analysis experience
  • U.S. Person Status is required as this position needs to access controlled data

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certification as lead QMS auditor in AS9100 along with hands on QMS implementation and audit experience.
  • Ability to work independently in a detail oriented way while driving QMS implementation.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
US Salary Range
$96,000$144,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in all offers; and are considered part of Anduril’s total compensation package.
