Anduril's Insider Threat and Counterintelligence Team is looking for a security engineer to build world class defensive controls to protect Anduril information, infrastructure, and brand. This is a role with wide breadth that will have the latitude to design and implement cutting edge security solutions.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Engineer advanced solutions to secure sensitive data against unauthorized access or disclosures
- Design and build robust insider threat detection and response architectures
- Architect and implement automation of insider threat monitoring and investigation workflows
- Contribute to internal investigations where needed providing support in forensic analysis, log review, analysis of alerts, summary of incident timeline, etc.
- Execute rigorous testing on internal security mechanisms to validate their effectiveness
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Action-oriented engineer with the ability to work autonomously and take ownership of complex projects
- Strong programming ability in one or more general purpose languages (Python, Go, C++, etc)
- Experience developing and implementing defensive controls around Windows, MacOS, Linux, and SaaS applications
- Proficiency with automating workflows and integrating security tools within IT environments
- Experience with AWS or Azure security ecosystem and tooling
- Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Splunk and/or other SIEMs.
- Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools, device management tooling and other telemetry sources
- Experience working on insider threat teams or working insider threat investigations
- Experience with broad system forensics
- Experience communicating technical security concerns and issues to a non-technical audience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering and 3+ years of security engineering experience; or 5+ years of security engineering experience without a degree
- Possess and able to maintain a U.S. TS Security Clearance
