The Design Team leads Anduril’s brand identity, visual communication, concept art, and industrial design. Our purpose is to connect the mission, people, and products to elevate the Anduril brand. As a Brand Design Intern, you will help develop and deploy the visual language for the Anduril brand. You’ll be responsible for driving the look and feel of our identity standards across the organization by rapidly iterating on ideas, addressing points of feedback, and finding compelling visual solutions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Project types will vary across company touch points including infographics, diagrams, product manuals, internal communications, marketing/tradeshow collateral, iconography, editorial layout, signage/ wayfinding, and web/social assets
- Execute on projects from concept to delivery (rough sketches to final product)
- Regularly collaborate with designers, engineers, strategists, stakeholders
- Contribute to daily design inspiration, critiques, and discussions
- Explore new ideas, approaches, and techniques to evolve the Anduril brand
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or equivalent.
- Approaching senior year or beyond at the time of the internship
- Portfolio demonstrating a strong familiarity with grid-based compositions, the ability to transform complex ideas into compelling visual narratives, and a refined stylistic point of view
- Understanding of design fundamentals: form, color, composition, typography
- Technical fluency in software of choice (Adobe Suite + Cinema4D for example)
- A reliable self-starter, highly organized, resourceful, with attention to detail
- A team player who is highly collaborative with the ability to handle complex projects
