The Anduril Rocket Motor Systems (ARMS) team is on a mission to build next generation solid rocket motors for a safer, more connected world. To achieve our vision of becoming a large-volume provider of tactical rocket motors, we will develop differentiated products and services that maximize our customers’ capabilities, and we will establish and maintain a reputation of Quality and Reliability.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage warehouse operations at the McHenry, MS location
- Ensure all materials are identified, tracked, labeled, and dispositioned
- Manage warehouse operations remotely at offsite locations
- Maintain accurate inventory and traceability by leading inbound receiving, counting, and accurately processing shipments as they arrive at the warehouse
- Coordinate with ERP Configuration and Planning team to prioritize material picks, kitting and operations location delivery for staging
- Maintain and safe, compliant, and clean operation at all locations
- Communicate and resolve any receiving, purchasing, or accounting issues as needed
- Reduce waste and manage accurate reporting
- Own the warehouse and materials management and collaborate with production, planning, and procurement to ensure material availability, accuracy, and shipment execution
- Manage logistics and prepare products for freight shipments, including all packing, strapping, wrapping, and loading activities. Handle hazardous goods safely and compliantly
- Partner closely with Anduril’s HQ Deployment and Logistics teams to execute demos, shipments, and deployments flawlessly. Set up truck shipments, rent cranes, and do anything necessary to ensure operational success
- Communicate effectively across channels with the supply chain and operations team about Anduril’s material flow
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures. Understand current processes and improve them as the business demands change by standardizing and training teams
- Proactively identify, propose, and fix logistical processes
- Provide feedback to Supply Chain on how the customer’s needs are met and will serve as critical input for their continuous improvement loop
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 8-10 years as a warehouse, logistics, planning, and inventory control manager
- Applicable experience working in a defense contract manufacturing
- Export and ITAR requirements for international shipping
- Strong background in outbound logistics and internal delivery of components for operations
- Excellent organizational and documentation management skills
- Strong understanding of traceability requirements
- Experience collaborating cross functionally to required dates
- Polished communication and presentation skills
- A bias towards action
- Highly proficient with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and/or other warehouse management and inventory control tooling
- Familiar with Microsoft Office or equivalent office management tooling
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to drive a forklift
- Training experience in warehouse safety, HazMat shipping and packaging
- Familiar with FAR and DFAR compliance
- U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data
