We’re building a platform that allows any expert to teach their clone how to reason and behave so they can use it to reach more customers and drive incremental revenue. We’ve raised $6.3M from General Catalyst and GSV Ventures to create this vision.
About the Role
As the Founding Product Designer at Amigo, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of AI-powered services. You'll be responsible for designing three core products:
Clone Factory: A no-code platform for experts to create and train AI clones
SMB Platform: A comprehensive dashboard for businesses to manage AI-powered services
Consumer Platform: HCI: A consumer-facing platform for real-time interaction with AI clones.
Your designs will define how experts create AI clones, how businesses manage these clones, and how end-users interact with them. You'll work closely with our CEO, CTO, and engineering teams to translate our vision into intuitive, engaging, and powerful user experiences.
Key Challenges
Factory: Designing intuitive interfaces for complex, technical processes in our cloning platform
Service-as-a-Software: Creating data-rich, actionable dashboards for businesses to manage AI clones and analyze performance
HCI: Developing engaging and natural interaction patterns for consumer-AI clone communication
Balancing innovative design with usability across diverse user groups and all three platforms
Incorporating real-time data visualization and interaction in all products
Ensuring accessibility and cross-platform consistency
Establishing a cohesive design language across all products
Who you are
Experienced product designer with a strong portfolio showcasing complex web applications
Expert in UX/UI design for both B2B and B2C products
Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
Skilled in creating design systems and component libraries
Experienced in designing for data visualization and real-time interactions
Knowledgeable about human-computer interaction principles, especially in AI contexts
Familiar with front-end development concepts and limitations
Strong communicator able to articulate design decisions to diverse stakeholders
Passionate about AI and its potential to transform service industries
Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
Bonus: Experience with motion design or 3D interfaces
Primary Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end design process for Factory, Service-as-a-Software, and HCI platforms
Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for each product
Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system for consistency across all three platforms
Factory: Design intuitive interfaces for graph-based workflows and complex data structures
Service-as-a-Software: Create business analytics dashboards and administrative interfaces
HCI: Develop innovative interaction patterns for real-time AI-human communication
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure feasible implementation across all products
Conduct user research and usability testing for each platform
Design intuitive data visualizations for complex AI performance metrics
Create engaging onboarding experiences for all user types across the three products
Ensure all designs are accessible and work across various devices and platforms
Stay updated on UX/UI trends, especially in AI, business analytics, and HCI fields
Contribute to the overall product strategy and vision
Mentor future design team members as the company grows
