At airSlate, we’re building value for customers and a culture where growth and innovation go hand in hand. We’re looking for people eager to shape products, scale a company, and thrive in a fast-moving environment.
We’re seeking a Director, Strategic FP&A who will serve as a dedicated finance business partner to our product and department leaders across a multi-product SaaS organization. This role will embed finance directly within the business units, providing strategic financial guidance for each product's P&L, growth strategy, and performance metrics. You will be the critical link between financial insights and operational decision-making.
As a strategic thought partner, you will collaborate closely with executive, product, and department teams to shape long-term growth strategies. You'll achieve this through data-informed storytelling, scenario planning, and providing actionable financial insights. Your focus will be on interpreting financial data, anticipating future trends, and guiding critical decisions that directly impact product performance and investment priorities.
The ideal candidate is a commercially minded finance leader who excels at collaboration, quickly builds trust, and brings clarity through structured analysis, compelling storytelling, and insightful recommendations. This is an opportunity to partner with the business to drive strategic alignment and growth within specific product lines and departments.

What you'll do:

  • Partner with product and department leaders to align financial plans with business strategy for their respective areas.
  • Provide financial leadership and support for specific product lines and P&Ls, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
  • Lead scenario planning, sensitivity analyses, and forecasting to support strategic decisions around investments, pricing, and resourcing for assigned business units.
  • Serve as a dedicated thought partner to executives and business leaders, helping to shape the long-term growth strategy through data-informed storytelling relevant to their domains.
  • Translate financial outcomes into clear insights and business narratives for senior leadership and board presentations, focusing on the performance of partnered departments.
  • Develop and maintain financial models that support strategic planning and scenario analysis for specific product and departmental initiatives.
  • Monitor SaaS metrics (ARR, retention, expansion, CAC, etc.) relevant to partnered business units and provide actionable insights to improve unit economics and business outcomes.
  • Bring forward-looking analysis to leadership discussions, helping partnered teams anticipate opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Foster a culture of financial literacy and accountability within the teams you support.

What you'll need:

  • 10+ years of progressive FP&A or strategic finance experience, including leadership roles within a SaaS or technology company.
  • Proven success building or scaling FP&A functions, ideally in a multi-product or matrixed environment.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS business models and metrics, with the ability to interpret and communicate key drivers of performance.
  • Strong storytelling skills, able to distill complex financial data into clear, compelling narratives for executive and board audiences.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, planning tools (Adaptive, Anaplan, Cube, etc.), and BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment.

What's nice to have:

  • Background in organizations undergoing rapid growth or transformation.
  • MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred but not required.
Even if you don’t meet every single requirement, we encourage you to apply. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and value diverse experiences and perspectives.
