About the Role
We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Mobile team of our product SignNow. This is a remote/hybrid role open to candidates based in Poland (Wroclaw).
As an Engineering Manager, you will oversee a mobile team of 9 people, including 2 team leads who report directly to you. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners and have a direct impact on product strategy and key business metrics. This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll be involved in everything from technical planning to team development and delivery processes.

What you'll be working on in development:

  • Project planing and estimation, technical decomposition, architecture decisions
  • Be responsible for new features delivery;
  • Be deeply involved in the delivery processes, manage and improve it;
  • Observance of ceremonies and artifacts within the team;
  • Be responsible for technical metrics after release;
  • Implement KPI and team performance metrics and technical metrics of the project (team, block);
  • Take active participation in product incidents, research problems and report improvements;
  • Handling requests from other groups and covering cross-team communication;
  • "Support" relevant parts of the product within the cross-team work;

What you'll be working on in people management:

  • Planning, hiring, and managing the team's headcount;
  • Conduct job interviews and create onboarding plans for new colleagues;
  • Give frequent and actionable feedback to support your team's development;
  • Create and control of achievement the individual development plan;
  • Initiate one-to-one performance review meetings with the team members;
  • Approve all teams requests (vacation, sick leaves, invoices, bonuses);
  • Lead formal and informal internal communication (daily standups, team buildings, birthdays, etc.)

What we expect from you:

  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher;
  • 5+ years of experience in mobile development,
  • 2+ experience in managemant of engineering teams (tech lead, team lead, EM);
  • Deep expertise in iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Kotlin);
  • Hands-on experience with cross-platform frameworks (Kotlin Multiplatform, Flutter) as a plus;
  • Strong understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle — from architecture to store releases;
  • Experience building secure mobile applications and applying mobile security best practices;
  • Experience with Firebase and Google Cloud Platform;
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD for mobile apps and experience maintaining and improving delivery pipelines;
  • Solid communication and collaboration skills — you will work daily with product managers, designers, backend and frontend teams;
  • Experience managing distributed teams and driving high performance in hybrid setups;
  • Experience leading hiring processes, onboarding engineers, and managing team growth;
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum);
  • Ownership mindset and ability to drive delivery independently while aligning with company goals.
