About airSlate
airSlate is a global SaaS technology company that develops no-code workflow automation, electronic signature, and document management solutions. Our award-winning products - SignNow, pdfFiller, DocHub, airSlate WorkFlow, Instapage, and US Legal Forms - serve over hundreds of millions of users and more than one million customers worldwide, helping organizations of every size digitize processes, improve efficiency, and transform how they work.
We’re in an exciting phase of growth and transformation, with teammates in more than 20 countries across three continents and main hubs in the United States, Poland, Romania, Ukraine and Philippines.
At airSlate, we’re building value for customers and a culture where growth and innovation go hand in hand. We’re looking for people eager to shape products, scale a company, and thrive in a fast-moving environment.
We’re on the hunt for a Senior/Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join our adventure — someone ready to wrangle data, tame models, and help write the next (and smartest) chapter in airSlate’s story.
At airSlate, we’re focusing on high-impact AI initiatives across our core marketing engine and SaaS product lines — driving innovation in digital B2C marketing and customer-facing workplace automation. Our long-term strategy is to transform the Marketing Engine into a powerhouse of automation, using AI to reimagine not just isolated marketing tasks but the entire approach — shifting from incremental improvements to building an intelligent system that drives the future of SaaS marketing. You’ll be part of this transformation from the ground up, working closely with senior leadership — including the CEO — to shape company-wide strategy. This is a highly visible, strategic role where bold thinking is not just encouraged, but expected. You’ll have the space to explore ambitious ideas, experiment with cutting-edge technologies, and design solutions that challenge conventional thinking. We use AWS SageMaker to build and deploy traditional AI models, while also developing novel applications powered by large language models — tools that will help us automate smarter, communicate better, and unlock entirely new product capabilities.
We invite you to join us and be at the forefront of AI innovation!

What you'll be working on:

  • Design, Develop, and Train ML Models:
  • Build and fine-tune cutting-edge machine learning models to address complex business challenges.
  • Data Collection, Preparation, and Feature Engineering:
  • Gather, preprocess, and engineer high-quality data for model training, ensuring relevance and accuracy.
  • Model Evaluation, Validation, and Optimization:
  • Test, validate, and optimize models to ensure they meet performance standards and scale effectively.
  • Deploy and Maintain ML Models in Production:
  • Implement and monitor ML models in production environments, ensuring sustained impact and continuous improvement.
  • Explore Agentic AI and RAG Applications:
  • Contribute to early-stage research and experimentation with agentic AI systems and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques — helping shape intelligent, autonomous workflows that can reason, adapt, and act within our products, while leveraging external knowledge sources to enhance decision-making and generation capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
  • Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to drive end-to-end model development and deployment.
  • Develop and Maintain Data Pipelines:
  • Design and maintain efficient data pipelines to support seamless, ongoing model training and updates.

What we expect from you:

  • Proven experience in an AI/ML environment, with a track record of delivering impactful solutions.
  • Hands-on expertise with traditional ML techniques (Supervised, Unsupervised, Semi-Supervised, and Reinforcement Learning, especially in Deep Learning).
  • Proficiency in Python for model development and implementation.
  • Familiarity with cutting-edge LLM technologies, including effectively utilizing components like embeddings for advanced applications and solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, able to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working effectively with distributed teams across time zones, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • A cooperative, team-player attitude with a focus on knowledge sharing and growth.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

  • Hands-on experience with AI applications in digital marketing, particularly in automation and optimization.
  • A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; advanced degrees (e.g., Master’s or Ph.D.) are a plus.
  • Experience contributing to research projects, academic or industry-led, especially those involving novel AI/ML approaches or experimental techniques.
