airSlate welcomes a talented PHP developer, a professional who will join a project for our pdfFiller Payment Team
pdfFiller empowers users with everything they need to create and edit PDFs and securely store documents within a single, easy-to-use application.
We use:
- For Backend: PHP 7.4, PHP 8+, Smarty, Redis, Redis Queues, RabbitMQ, Docker, AWS, MySQL 7+, Kafka
- For metrics and logs: Grafana, ELK, Prometheus, Telegraph, Victoria Metrics, Jaeger
- For testing: Java, Selenium, Jenkins, PHP Unit, Codeception
- For CI/CD: GitHub Actions, TeamCity, ECR (Amazon DockerHub)
- For Authorization Auth 2.0, SSO, JWT- WebSocket and REST/RPC protocols to communicate with the API
- Jira for task tracking
- A/B testing platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Participation in discussions, decomposition, evaluation, and planning of tasks;
  • Implementation of tasks, code writing;
  • Collaboration with the team and other blocks to build new features.

Requirements:

  • At least three years of PHP programming experience;
  • Experience with MySQL, Docker, observability and logging;
  • Good understanding of algorithms and data structures;
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies;
  • Experience with WebSockets;
  • Experience with unit testing;
  • Experience in software architecture design;
  • Ability to understand business requirements and concepts and translate those into technical solutions;
  • Experience in working with heavy-load projects is a big plus.
Main steps to join us
We recruit through 3 stages of consideration:
HR interview (≅ 30 minutes)
The recruiter shares information about the company and asks questions about your career goals, job preferences, abilities, knowledge, and more. Once pre-screening has finished, your resume is submitted for approval.
Technical interview (≅ 1.5 hours)
This interview is meant to assess your technical skills and knowledge required for the role. You will be asked questions based on the information you've indicated in your resume as well as questions that will test your problem-solving skills and ability to apply your knowledge to real-life work-related situations.
Final interview with the Hiring manager (≅ 1 hour)
During this interview, you will get acquainted with the Hiring manager and be asked some technical questions. You can also expect some behavioral questions to see if you fit the company's culture.
