The Community You Will Join:

Airbnb is developing an innovative approach on how to grow, develop, support, and retain Hosts, ultimately driving their usage of Airbnb in the long-term. As part of our strategy to unlock new hosts, we are building a large community of Ambassadors on Airbnb. Those Ambassadors are experienced Hosts who provide recommendations to anyone who wants to host on Airbnb. As we continue to support this program, we are looking for a talented Senior Community Growth manager to support, shape and develop this program in APAC.

The Difference You Will Make:

This role will also be strategic to the different hosting programs' success across APAC. This person will be responsible to assess and support any new hosting program local roll-out across the region - This notably includes Co-Hosting, which helps thousands of entrepreneurs to grow their business with Airbnb managing listings on behalf of homes hosts.

The ideal candidate is a strategic operator, analytical, strong content development skills, adept at business planning for the long term while remaining nimble and adaptive to short term priorities. This includes relationship building and management within our host community.

A Typical Day:

  • Strategy: Operate autonomously to create & implement strategic tactics to ensure your community is successful in your market, driving maximum business impact.
  • Processes: Challenge status-quo, improve and influence Program central teams, surfacing field feedback.
  • Business analysis: Analyze and review performance on all aspects: quality, supply growth and availability and top line. Influence key business decisions through data-driven recommendations and insights.
  • Community Management: Animate local hosting communities, cascading key product updates and encouraging best practices among the community
  • Collaborate with Regional Managers and cross-functional partners to support regional supply strategy and cross-functional initiatives.

Your Expertise:

  • Qualified candidates will have 8+ years of work experience, preferably with combined exposure to sales, business operations and project management. Experience in hospitality business is a plus.
  • Good analyticals skills and metrics understanding allowing to take data-driven decisions
  • Good understanding of digital environment and of the different growth levers and opportunities
  • Capacity to balance day-to-day responsibilities with longer-term strategic execution
  • Already experienced a target driven environment and at ease with challenge
  • The ability to get things done with constantly changing priorities, projects and deadlines
  • Experience building and strengthening relationships with external partners
  • Proactive self-starter able to prioritize and manage work autonomously in a fast paced environment
  • Capacity to think out of the box and to innovate
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • English and Korean fluent.
