Your Impact
As a Junior Data Analyst / Engineer, you’ll turn raw data into clear insights that steer product, operations, and go-to-market. You’ll help build our single source of truth, improve the quality of digitized policy data, and create dashboards that make it effortless for teammates (and our AI agents) to act.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build the foundation: Clean, transform, and model data (mainly from policies, CRM, and operations tools) into well-documented datasets.
- Dashboards & reporting: Create and maintain BI dashboards (e.g., Metabase) for product, sales, and operations; automate recurring reports.
- Analytics for decisions: Run descriptive analyses and lightweight experiments; define and track core KPIs across the customer lifecycle.
- Data quality: Monitor data pipelines, perform QA on digitized policy outputs, and resolve anomalies with engineering and ops.
- Enable AI agents: Analyse the results of the evaluation datasets and metrics our AI agents use to assess accuracy.
- Stakeholder partnership: Translate business questions into analytical plans; present insights clearly (simple > clever).
- Documentation & governance: Keep metrics definitions, data lineage, and playbooks current; handle data responsibly (GDPR-aware).
What We’re Looking For
Technical Skills:
- 1–2 years of analytics experience (internships, projects, or first role); strong recent grads welcome.
- Good Python knowledge to create transformations and data pipelines.
- Solid SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions) and Spreadsheets (Pivot, Lookup, basic modeling).
- Comfort with a BI tool (Metabase/Tableau/Power BI/Looker Studio) and data visualization best practices.
- Basic statistics (distributions, sampling, A/B test fundamentals, confidence intervals).
- Clear communication: you tell the story behind the numbers and bias toward action.
- Ownership mindset aligned with our values (simplicity, radical candor, solutions).
